The skipjack tuna is a perciform fish in the tuna family, Scombridae, and is the only member of the genus Katsuwonus. It is a cosmopolitan pelagic fish found in tropical and warm-temperate waters.W CalCOFI holds 49 observations of it in 1 dataset between 1987 and 2006, as larva.R
