Stomiidae is a family of deep-sea ray-finned fish, including the barbeled dragonfishes, that live in all oceans in a wide range of depths. They are quite small, ranging around 15 to 26 centimetres long, and they exhibit a strong sexual dimorphism.W CalCOFI holds 9,541 observations of it in 2 datasets between 1951 and 2023, as larva, across 28 taxa under it.R
