The stargazers are a family, Uranoscopidae, of perciform ray-finned fish that have eyes on top of their heads. The family includes about 51 species in eight genera, all marine and found worldwide in shallow and deep saltwaters.W CalCOFI holds 2 observations of it in 1 dataset between 1962 and 2002, as larva, across 2 taxa under it.R
