Threadfins are silvery grey ray-finned fish of the family Polynemidae. Found in tropical to subtropical waters throughout the world, the threadfin family contains nine genera and about 40 species.W CalCOFI holds 83 observations of it in 1 dataset between 1959 and 2006, as larva, across 4 taxa under it.R
